Ring utilizes unique GNSS manipulation technology in order to pacify all manner of UAS threats.

The Ring system relies on combat-proven GNSS manipulation to override the drone’s controls, holding or crashing it or forcing it to land. This method can be used to target and neutralize a single threat, or unlimited threats at once, using very low-power transmission on a single channel. This guarantees low collateral damage limited to the GNSS channel, as opposed to jamming, which affects several RF channels and can interfere with other systems in the area.

counter drone GNSS manipulationThe Ring R1 add-on features a detection range of up to 1.5 km as well as rapid scanning of the RF spectrum, providing more scalable and effective coverage than other solutions. Boasting a minimal false-alarm rate, its highly accurate threat classification provides threat alerts based on profile matches. The Ring R1 is well-suited for use in multi-threat environments, as well as in non-line of sight, bad weather and low visibility conditions.

The Ring system currently sees active use by a leading army across various locations and platforms. The portable, cost-effective solution is intuitive to use and can be deployed in under ten minutes. “Red Button” effectiveness allows the operator to immediately respond to any nearby threat via a simple mechanical switch interface. In its basic configuration, the system has a range of up to 5km.

Ring is compliant with all privacy regulations, such as GDPR, transmitting but not receiving or recording any target data. Immediately operable right out of the box, the system works without the requirement of any protocol reverse engineering or whitelisting. Ring can operate both manually and automatically, C2 based or mechanical, 24/7, and either stand-alone or integrated with any detection system or C2 interface through a simple API. The system works while stationary or mobile, on any relevant platform or location, and generates minimal RF footprint and low collateral damage.

counter drone GNSS manipulation“Drones today are inexpensive, highly available, practical and lethal. Drone attacks are difficult to detect or react to,” said Regulus Cyber CEO & Co-Founder Yonatan Zur. “There is a real and pressing need for forces to neutralize drones simply and effectively; we need only look at the current conflict in the Ukraine to see how they are being used to attack tanks and forces deployed in the field. Regulus has developed a unique technology which, for the first time, can intercept most unmanned aerial systems, replacing jamming and cyber-hacking, which are complex to operate and might affect other systems and communications being used by the force. Successfully tested against over 30 different platforms – including multi rotor and fixed wing, and naval and land-based threats – Ring has already been selected by defense, police, and HLS forces around the world, and has been Battle Proven with excellent performance in real-world conflicts, stopping real-world threats.”
