ACSL Partners with Exertis Almo to Expand SOTEN Drone Availability in North America

January 30, 2025 by Miriam McNabb Leave a Comment

New Partnership Supports Growing Demand for NDAA-Compliant Drone Solutions

Santa Clara, California – January 30, 2025 – ACSL, Inc. has announced a partnership with Exertis Almo, a North American distributor, to increase the availability of its flagship SOTEN drone. The collaboration aims to expand ACSL’s reach and provide distribution, support, and training for a growing dealer network.

Expanding Distribution in 2025

Following a year of growth in 2024, ACSL plans to increase SOTEN shipments from hundreds to thousands in 2025. The company has introduced new product updates, including a thermal camera and a smart controller, and aims to meet the rising demand for NDAA-compliant drone systems.

“ACSL is deeply committed to understanding and meeting the unique needs of the U.S. drone market. We’ve spent considerable time in the field since our initial launch into the US, learning from our users, and continuously improving our systems based on their feedback,” said Cynthia Huang, CEO of ACSL, Inc. “Our partnership with Exertis Almo marks a significant step forward in bringing our advanced UAS solutions to a broader audience.”

Exertis Almo provides distribution and business development services across various industries. With 12 distribution facilities and 2.7 million square feet of automated warehousing space, the company will support ACSL’s expansion.

“Collaborating with ACSL to bring the flagship SOTEN drone to our partner network is an important opportunity,” said Eric Jameson, Business Development Manager, Drone Solutions, Exertis Almo. “ACSL’s NDAA/TAA-compliant drones provide versatile usage for inspection, surveying, and surveillance across industries such as energy, public safety, and agriculture. As the leading trade-only distributor in the drone industry, Exertis Almo is committed to supporting integrators in navigating this growing market. We look forward to showcasing the SOTEN drone this spring at the Exertis Almo E4 Experience training and AV tech expos in Dallas and New Jersey.”

Product Updates and Future Plans

ACSL is preparing to ship its 640 radiometric thermal camera system in Spring 2025. The company has also released firmware updates designed to enhance gimbal stability, improve video quality, and optimize motion-sensing algorithms. These changes aim to provide smoother live video and better-recorded footage.
