DJI’s Matrice 600 (M600) is DJI’s high end commercial drone designed for professional aerial photography and various industrial applications. M600 is DJI’s heaviest drone. M-600 applications include operating near people and infrastructure.

The DJI M600 itself comes equipped with several redundancies, however the M-600 drone is still prone to other hardware, software, and pilot error risks that could lead to a potential crash. That is why an expensive investment and a professional working tool. Like the M 600, requires a safety net; a backup system that guarantees recovery when all else fails.

ParaZero has been designing, manufacturing and selling fully autonomous drone safety systems for over 3 years providing a complete safety net for various commercial drone platforms. The existence of the ParaZero system, enabled Airobotics to receive a BVLOS and autonomous permit from CAA.

Ran Krauss, Co-founder and CEO, of Airobotics said, “We’ve integrated the ParaZero SafeAir system with our Optimus, an industrial-grade automated drone, as soon as the product became available. Finding a reliable safety solution was not an easy task, and we partnered with ParaZero to create a best-in-class, premium drone, that will serve industrial customers reliably and reduce risk.  Additionally, the SafeAir system was a regulatory requirement from the Civil Aviation Authority in Israel; integrating SafeAir helped us to get certified with a world-first license to operate fully automated drones without a human pilot in command.“

ParaZero launched SafeAir, to solve the industry’s primary challenge – safe operations. ParaZero’s accumulated experience led to the creation of the SafeAir M-600 system.

The SafeAir M-600 system has been tested in extreme conditions and scenarios. It meets high standards, has unmatched reliability in the industry, and certified according to aerospace quality standard of design.

SafeAir M-600 is equipped with SmartAir, an independent emergency computer. This provides autonomous deployment during emergencies, removing the possibility of human error factor and providing rapid reaction time in cases of critical failure. This is the only recovery system that guarantees deployment before reaching a non-recoverable situation and is effective at low altitudes.

The patented deployment technology provides 0.2 second response time making it the only recovery system effective at low altitude and setting a new benchmark. The deployment is effective and was tested even at extreme angles. SafeAir recovery system includes an independent Flight Termination System (FTS) that shuts down the drone’s engine down during activation to prevent parachute string entanglement in the drone rotors, thus guaranteed performance.

SafeAir features quick and easy installation and ensures more flight time and increased payload flexibility. All these unique capabilities guarantee a crash free flight environment, and dramatically increase drone protection and security to all people and infrastructure underneath.

ParaZero SafeAir M-600 is compatible with all M-600 configurations: M-600, M-600 PRO, M-600 with D-RTK, including the 5-antenna configuration.

By using SafeAir an operator can expand to new business opportunities by being able to fly everywhere, safely. Having the SafeAir on board protects the drone, the payload, people, property and the company brand.

Regulators around the world are looking at autonomous safety systems with FTS. It seems ParaZero holds a key to unlock regulatory constraints and public opinion, to eventually allow drones to operate everywhere. SafeAir.
