AERMATICA with ANTEOS RPA (Remotely Piloted Aircraft) gets the first authorization for critical operations, issued in accordance with the Regulations on Remotely Piloted Aerial Systems by ENAC, the Italian Civil Aviation Authority (2004.01)
The approval has been granted upon the Operator’s Certification of fulfilment of all the corresponding requirements of the Regulations. This important result has allowed AERMATICA in recent days to carry out inspections at the industrial site of ENEL in Livorno, thereby completing a process that had begun some time ago with ENEL – one of the most important companies in the world in the electricity sector due to its power production and distribution network.
This paves the way for intensive use of ANTEOS RPA system in industrial contexts thanks to its on-board equipment with sensor cameras, thermal and hyperspectral sensors, gas detectors. The system allows reducing risks for operators and times spent for inspections, thus extending operating conditions and significantly decreasing costs for maintenance operations.
