LIFT Aircraft Introduces First Pay-Per-Flight eVTOL Experience

March 11, 2024 by Miriam McNabb 6 Comments

eVTOL flight experienceIs this the future of personal aviation?  LIFT Kicks Off US Tour

LIFT Aircraft, a leading innovator in electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) technology, has announced the launch of the world’s first eVTOL customer flight experiences. This groundbreaking development was unveiled during a historic event, as a live broadcast flight was featured on Good Morning America, showcasing the company’s HEXA aircraft piloted by GMA’s Rob Marciano. Marciano shared his excitement during the flight, stating, “This is amazing! This is the future of personal air transportation!”

Following this successful showcase, LIFT revealed plans for a U.S. Tour that signifies a significant step forward in the company’s mission to make personal flight accessible and transform urban mobility. The tour’s commencement is a pivotal moment for LIFT, highlighting its commitment to broadening the horizons of air travel for the general public.

The company’s first-ever pay-per-flight experiences are now open to the public, with operations starting at Lakeland Linder Airport until April 28. This location is notably the site of the Sun N Fun Aerospace Expo, where LIFT will participate in air shows and offer customer flights (April 9-14). The tour will continue in Austin, Texas, in May, with plans to expand to additional cities soon.

LIFT makes flying accessible to everyone with their HEXA aircraft. The experience includes about 2 hours of comprehensive ground training and a virtual reality flight simulation to familiarize customers with the aircraft’s controls. Under the supervision of experienced flight instructors, and without the need for a pilot’s license, participants will pilot HEXA themselves.

Booking for these unique flight experiences is available through LIFT’s mobile app on the Apple App Store and Google Play, as well as directly on their website.

Matt Chasen, CEO and Founder of LIFT Aircraft, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, saying, “We are incredibly excited to bring the future of personal aviation to life with the launch of our customer eVTOL flights. We’re not just providing entertainment; we’re offering the chance to step into a new era of mobility. We’re pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in aviation.”
