Yesterday President Trunp met with CEOs from several US drone companies. George Matthew of Kespry, Michael Chasen of PrecisionHawk, and Brandon Torres Declet of Measure were among those who attended. CNBC and Recode report that UAV regulation was a primary topic.
CNCBC summarized the session with the following:
- Drone-company CEOs meeting with Trump lobbied hard for looser regulations.
- “Strong opinions” were expressed to the administration during meeting in East Room of White House, under watchful eyes of George and Martha Washington.
- “There were no shrinking violets,” says Brandon Torres Declet, a CEO who was there.
