Going to the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas next week? It’s huge – and covers a variety of different technologies including drones, and the software and infrastructure that support those drones. There will be a little of every technology related thing that you can think of: from TVs to cameras and everything in between.
Their website provides a brief history of CES: “The first CES kicked off in 1967, with 250 exhibitors and 17,500 attendees in New York City. Since then, CES has grown by more than 10-fold and now encompasses both traditional and non-traditional tech industries.”
With a projected 175K attendees, over 4.5K exhibitors, and over 1K speakers – and over 150 companies that categorize themselves as in the drone space – there’s a lot to see. Here are a few highlights that we are looking forward to checking out next week!
Delta CEO Ed Bastian will present a CES keynote that “will demonstrate how travel has become an essential part of our lives, and how technology and innovation — combined with the best employees on the planet — will transform the future travel experience for customers across all points of the journey.” Maybe a passenger drone? Who knows! Hope to see you there.
