From the Floor Of Intergeo 2025: GeoCue Announces NDAA-Compliant TrueView 641 Aerial LiDAR Sensor

October 8, 2025 by Ian McNabb Leave a Comment

GeoCue unveiled the TrueView 641 at INTERGEO 2025, a new NDAA-compliant aerial LiDAR sensor designed to meet growing demand from surveying and engineering companies across the United States and worldwide. The engineering-grade sensor addresses the increasing number of Federal, State, Local, and Educational contracts requiring NDAA compliance while maintaining cost accessibility without compromising performance.

The TrueView 641 represents GeoCue’s expansion into compliant solutions as more professionals require access to sensors meeting these stringent requirements. The system integrates seamlessly into professional UAV workflows and includes GeoCue’s industry-leading LP360 Drone software for data processing, quality assurance, and deliverable generation.

“We recognize the growing demand for NDAA-compliant solutions, and the TrueView 641 delivers precisely that—engineering-grade accuracy combined with accessibility, ensuring more professionals can compete for projects requiring these standards,” said Frank Darmayan, COO of GeoCue Group.

Strategic Partnership with Triple-IN Laser Technic

GeoCue partnered with Triple-IN Laser Technic, a German leader in LiDAR design and development, to bring the sensor to market. Triple-IN specializes in high-accuracy LiDAR sensors with field-proven applications spanning industrial automation, mining, surveying, mapping, civil engineering, and smart city infrastructure. The company brings over twenty years of innovation and in-house production experience, delivering robust and cost-effective LiDAR systems deployed worldwide.

The partnership leverages Triple-IN’s cutting-edge European engineering expertise combined with GeoCue’s established integration, software, and customer support ecosystem to create a comprehensive solution for geospatial professionals.

Engineering-Grade Performance Specifications

The TrueView 641 delivers precision and reliability expected from GeoCue’s TrueView product line while expanding access to NDAA-compliant drone solutions. The system features engineering-grade capabilities including a range up to 400 meters, less than 4 mm accuracy, and a 120-degree field of view with support for up to 6 returns.

The sensor integrates an NDAA-compliant 26 megapixel global shutter camera and combines point density, accuracy, range, and scan speed in a single innovative sensor. This configuration makes it ideal for projects demanding precision across challenging environments including forestry, infrastructure, transportation, and urban mapping applications.

“The TrueView 641 fills a small gap in our portfolio, making single beam NDAA-compliant LiDAR more accessible to the market,” said Vivien Heriard-Dubreuil, CEO of mdGroup, parent company of GeoCue. “After carefully evaluating leading LiDAR manufacturers, we selected a solution we could integrate with full confidence. With a 26 MP camera, our TrueNav system, and LP360 software, the TrueView 641 delivers crisp point clouds making it an outstanding NDAA-compliant option for geospatial professionals.”

Vincent Legrand, Vice President of Global Sales at GeoCue, emphasized market responsiveness. “We’ve responded to the needs of our US distributors and customers who asked for a more affordable NDAA-compliant solution,” Legrand stated. “At the same time, the TrueView 641 is a perfect fit for our global customers who need a long-range, engineering-grade LiDAR payload. Paired with our world-class support and LP360 software, we’re delivering a unique value proposition that sets GeoCue apart in the market.”

The TrueView 641 will be available by year-end, with first deliveries expected before December and early orders securing priority fulfillment. More information on the Trueview 641 and other sensors within GeoCue’s range is available from their website.
