Uplift Data Partners, a Chicago based drone flight-operation management and data analysis firm, announced today announced the appointment of two executives to round out its engineering and sales teams. The company is anticipating a stage of accelerated growth and wants to be in a position to meet expected market demand for its services.
“The construction industry isn’t known for efficiency, and small gains mean not only billions in savings, but also a significant reduction in site waste,” said Suzanne El-Moursi, president of Uplift. “As a team, we’re honored to be a part of this huge transformation. We’re a passionate group dedicated to making an impact. By adding these two talented and driven leaders — Kinan and Jamail — to our organization, we will be able to tactfully fast-track our software development while we work in tandem to convert prospects into happy customers.”
Kinan Sweidan brings his entrepreneurial spirit and deep domain expertise to Uplift, where he will be vice president of engineering focused on software development and aerial insight intellectual property. Formerly, Sweidan was chief technology officer and co-founder of electronic integrator 911 Systems, helping Fortune 500 clients minimize risk, reduce labor costs and gain powerful business insights. His technical focus on operational efficiency and analytics will benefit Uplift customers as Sweidan works with his team to provide more accurate drone data and sharper insights.
Jamail Carter is a growth-oriented executive with a proven track record for identifying opportunities and providing strategic direction to deliver tangible results. With nearly two decades of experience in enterprise sales and management, Carter will lead the team as vice president of business development and sales. He is responsible for building partnerships and growing Uplift’s customer base. Before joining Uplift, Carter was the chief operating officer for medical technology startup ONVI. His experience cultivating positive client relationships will prove invaluable as he extends Uplift’s customer-centric team and interfaces with clients.
“Uplift is already doing impressive work in the construction space. I’m eager to dive into the nuances powering this service. My goal is to fine-tune the system, extracting and uncovering hidden value for both the company and its clients,” said Sweidan.
“It’s exciting to join such a remarkable multi-disciplinary team,” said Carter. “Knowing what Uplift has already achieved and how the industry is evolving, it’s clear the company has helped fuel rapid growth for drones in construction. I look forward to applying my expertise to further bolster that growth.”
