For whatever reason, the Irish drone videos seem to be rising to the top a couple weeks late. There is probably a ‘two-week hangover’ joke there, but it’s been a long day.
So, we will just jump right to the video.
Shot by YouTube user John Aiken with a DJI Phantom 2 and set to Davy Spillane’s “Midnight Walker,” this is another video that really demonstrates why drones are becoming so popular. You can’t quite capture this kind of landmark with a stationary camera.
Think about it; just a few short years ago a video like this would have taken a lot of professional equipment and time to capture. Now, any tourist with a credit card can shoot a video like this on a whim.
Plus, this video that really makes me want to visit Ireland. Or watch Braveheart. Or both.
…and before I get reamed out in the comments, yes, I know Braveheart took place in Scotland. But those bagpipes sounds straight off James Horner’s soundtrack.

Absolutely stunning. Capturing the Cliffs of Moher on a sunny day is not too easy but just as beautiful in the rain.
