A unique, civil unmanned aircraft with remote control developed by Czech company Primoco UAV SE is coming to the international market. The UAV flies independently with the help of pre-programmed flight plans and provides wide range of options to be used together with additional specialised equipment that it can carry and use during the flight.
The aircraft can be equipped to fly missions in a variety of industries including agriculture, health
care and energy.
“We are able to supply almost unlimited combinations of technologies according to the needs of a
customer,“ says Ladislav Semetkovský, CEO and founder of Primoco UAV SE.
Due to its ability to take off and land within a very short distance, the aircraft Primoco UAV categorizes the UAV as STOL (Short Takeoff and Landing).
The maximum take-off weight of 50 kg combined with the 8 hours endurance, 400+ km range and the
cruising speed of 50 – 150 km/hour makes the Primoco UAV unbeatable compared to electric drones
within its category, while the running costs are still low (100 EUR per flight hour).
The aircraft Primoco UAV has been developed for commercial purposes, however, to operate it the
user is required to pass a training according to civil aviation authorities.
The aircraft Primoco UAV will be launched on the market in October 2015 with a cost of about 60,000 €.
