Draganfly Inc. has been awarded a contract to supply Flex FPV drones and comprehensive training to U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) units through a partnership with DelMar Aerospace Corporation. The collaboration combines Draganfly’s unmanned platforms with DelMar’s specialized instruction capabilities for government operators.
Flex FPV Drone Technical Capabilities
The Draganfly Flex FPV serves as a modular platform designed to meet evolving Department of Defense operational requirements. The system’s innovative architecture enables rapid transition across operating profiles, allowing operators to deploy various flight characteristics and payload capacities with a single unit. This modularity provides a common training and sustainment baseline while adapting to mission-specific needs.
Training will encompass a comprehensive curriculum covering FPV assembly, repair, flight operations, and advanced mission planning and execution. The first cohort is scheduled to begin in mid-February 2026 at DelMar Aerospace’s Camp Pendleton UAS range training facility, a controlled environment purpose-built to replicate battlefield scenarios.
Partnership Structure and Training Focus
DelMar Aerospace will lead instruction delivery, curriculum development, and standards alignment, ensuring tactical relevance while maintaining compliance with U.S. Government contracting and security requirements. The Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business brings expertise in developing combat-proven tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for unmanned aircraft systems.
