Every time I see another one of these stories, I can’t help but wonder how much lobbying and money has been spent by Skydio and other US based drone companies to spread this legislation. It seems like the language is nearly identical state by state with only anecdotal fearmongering and no actual data to back up the concerns. Even with the tariffs, foreign equipment is still more affordable or at the very least gives more features for equal cost.
