Percepto Executive Appointed VP of Commercial Drone Alliance

Today, autonomous inspection and monitoring leader Percepto announced that its VP for Policy and Government Affairs Neta Gliksman has been appointed Vice President for the Commercial Drone Alliance (CDA). A non-profit organization led by commercial drone industry leaders, the CDA works with US federal policymakers and industry stakeholders for the advancement of the commercial uncrewed aircraft systems and advanced air mobility industries.

A member of the Federal Aviation Administration’s Aviation Rulemaking Committee (ARC), Gliksman’s appointment draws attention to Percepto’s commitment to realizing the widespread deployment of drones in commercial environments. Percepto has achieved a series of recent regulatory breakthroughs, with an FAA exemption denial this month, a highly automated BVLOS approval for 200 feet above ground in January, and a first of its kind BVLOS FAA waiver to remotely operate automated drones for critical infrastructure monitoring this past November.

Gliksman collaborates with regulatory bodies and global drone industry stakeholders to propel regulatory progress for large-scale, autonomous commercial drone operations. She also helps Percepto clients around the world obtain the necessary regulatory approvals.

The CDA collaborates with all levels of government on policies for industry growth, and works to educate the public on the safe and responsible use of commercial drones to achieve economic benefits and humanitarian gains.
