DroneShield has received recognition for its best-in-class C-UAS (“Counter-drone” or “Anti-drone”) systems, including its RfPatrol and DroneGun MkIII. The company has previously received contracts from DoD, DHS, Federal and State level Law Enforcement agencies.
As drones become an important tool in conflicts, detection and mitigation of small drones is increasingly critical for soldiers.
The RfPatrol is a passive, or non-emitting, wearable UAS detection device: automatically detecting drones in the vicinity traveling at any speed. With no RF emissions, it can operate quietly and safely – and it integrates into existing battle management systems, providing a bigger picture view of potential drone threats.
The DroneGun MkIII is a pistol-shaped, lightweight cUAS tool designed to be operated with one hand. The DroneGun MkIII activates RF disruption, a safe way of interrupting live streaming and forcing a drone to land or return to base.
“We’re grateful for the continued trust that this organization has placed in us to help address a unique set of operational challenges,” said Tom Branstetter, Droneshield’s Director of Business Development. “Our customer relationships are what fuel our commitment to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the counter unmanned space. Every teammate at DroneShield understands the significance of the problems we’re solving for our end-users and it’s something we’re proud to support.”
“We’re a mission driven and user focused team here at DroneShield. Strengthening our partnership with an existing user and being able to deliver in full, within days, on an order like this is the direct result of that commitment to our users, their needs and mission,” said DroneShield U.S. CEO Matt McCrann. “Our team emphasizes operating with speed and purpose, and speed doesn’t just apply to tech development; it applies to the ability to deliver end to end, from factory to field. We look forward to continuing to work closely with our U.S. Government partners.”
The company also recently revealed it would be deploying its technology for such prominent events as the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, and IRONMAN Texas 2022.
