BRINC Global Rescue NetworkBRINC Launches Global Rescue Network

by DRONELIFE Staff Writer Ian M Crosby

Public safety drone specialist BRINC announced today the formation of the BRINC Global Rescue Network, a new program committed to aiding in global humanitarian efforts.

Composed of two dozen public safety professionals, military veterans, and current/former professional drone racing league members worldwide, the BRINC team will donate the use of equipment, staffing and expertise in order to assist first responders, NGOs and government agencies during natural disaster and humanitarian crisis situations. The team possesses a total of over 10,000 unmanned systems flight hours and has deployed to and operated in upwards of 55 countries.

The BRINC Global Rescue Network will be leveraged for use cases including emergency response, personnel recovery, route clearance, downed utilities inspection, rescue in GPS-denied and subterranean environments, reconnaissance of debilitated/structurally unsound buildings, search and rescue, and HAZMAT missions, as well as any other situations in which its technology can be deployed to help save lives.

BRINC Global Rescue Network“After having the incredible experience of using our drones to help war victims in Ukraine and at the Champlain Towers collapse in Florida, I realized how much more we could do if we set ourselves up for it,” said BRINC founder and CEO Blake Resnick. “That’s what BRINC Philanthropy is all about.”

It was these experiences that motivated BRINC to establish a formal system for donating the use of its equipment, staffing and expertise to humanitarian efforts, enabling the reduction of response time and the rapid deployment of technology into the field.

Established following the October 2017 Mandalay Bay shooting in Las Vegas, BRINC’s first drone products were designed to save lives and minimize danger during similar events. Now, the company’s technology is employed by hundreds of police departments and public-safety agencies.
