DJI and SkyPixel Open 2021 SkyPixel Creative Video Contest

DJI, the world leader in civilian drones and aerial imaging technology, and SkyPixel, one of the most popular online aerial photography and videography communities worldwide, have announced the 2021 SkyPixel Creative Video Contest. This year’s event sees the addition of a new 15s Video category. The worldwide contest is open to submissions from creators of all types, whether hobbyists or professional videographers. Contest prizes will be provided by companies including FAW-Volkswagen Audi, Canon, and DJI.
The submission period runs from 9 am EST Oct. 27 to 1 am EST Dec. 6, 2021. The contest is open to videos shot on DJI Osmo or Ronin Series products, and features seven categories, including Sports, Travel, Party, Pets and Kids, Creative, Foods, and the new 15s Video. There is no age limit, nor is there a limit on the amount of videos submitted per participant. More detailed rules can be found on the official contest website.
The panel of judges for 2021 is made up of professional film producers, directors, and influencers, including Aaron Liu, Sam Kolder, Devin Graham, and Mike Bishop.
DJI and SkyPixel will be giving out 60 awards, with over $46,000 worth in prizes. The Grand Prize winner will receive a DJI coupon of $7,500 towards the purchase of any DJI product, as well as a Canon EOS R5 mirrorless camera with an RF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Lens Kit, an Audi e-tron 1:18 model car, and additional exciting prizes. Winners across all categories will earn a variety of prizes, some of which include a DJI Action 2 Dual-Screen Combo, DJI RS 2 Pro Combo, Canon EOS R5, and Audi Sport Watch. Additionally, submissions selected by editors and shot with a previous-generation DJI Osmo or Ronin product will earn a 5% coupon towards the purchase of a new DJI handheld product. The award winners will be announced on December 28th.
