Epson, a major international projector brand, announced it has received four rAVe 2017 Best of InfoComm Awards. Included among these is its Moverio Smart Glasses for Best Wireless Accessory.
The Epson Moverio BT-300 (FPV-Drone Edition) Smart Glasses are a best-in-class solution for FPV drones for broadcasting, videography and remote image capture. Optimized for use with DJI hardware, the Epson Moverio BT-300 glasses enable drone pilots to maintain line of sight with their aircraft without having to look down at a smartphone or tablet to view the camera feed, enhancing the safety, productivity and capabilities of videographers piloting DJI unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
“Our Best of InfoComm Awards are totally unique, as a manufacturer cannot pay to enter them, they cannot nominate themselves, and we do not award them from a list of limited entries,” said Gary Kayye, founder and editor-in-chief, rAVe Publications. “We literally go to every single booth at InfoComm and collectively pick the best of the best we see on the show floor.”
The rAVe Best of InfoComm Awards honor the top products showcased at InfoComm also included the Epson Moverio BT-350 Augmented Reality Smart Glasses offer an optional multi-user docking station and are optimized for “fleet” environments. With a front-facing 5 mega pixel camera and WiFi connectivity, the Epson Moverio BT-350 smart glasses are particularly useful in providing real-time visibility to remote experts working with technicians installing, repairing or being trained on high-value capital equipment, especially in the medical, logistics and manufacturing field.
“We are honored to be recognized this year by rAVe for our innovative products and developments shown at InfoComm 2017,” said Richard Miller, director of projector product management, Epson America, Inc. “Epson remains committed to driving the future of display technology with our core devices at the heart of every product as a key differentiator.”
