All films submitted for entry at DroneUp International Film Festival must be:
- 6 minutes or less in length
- Shot at least 50% by drone or UAV
- Fall under one of the six DroneUp film categories
Aerial photographers can enter videos in the following six categories: Nature, Urban, Culture & Sport, Travel, Extreme, and Narrative & Cinematic.

3rd Prize € 1.000
Audience Choice Award € 1.000
All film submissions will be viewed and judged by an international DroneUp Jury consisting of industry professionals. The DroneUp Jury will shortlist all entries and announce a screening selection on July 16th, 2016. All shortlisted films are automatically nominated for the DroneUp Prizes.
If a video is selected for screening, the entrant will be required to submit a high-resolution exhibition quality digital file to enable the best presentation possible. DroneUp IFF reserves the right to convert sent files to alternate formats at the discretion of the festival manager to ensure optimal screening quality.
