This weekend at Maker Faire in San Mateo, CA drones will be dodging, diving, dipping, ducking and dodging in the Aerial Action Sports League (AASL) competition presented by Game of Drones. Beginning at 10 am this Saturday and Sunday, pilots will be flying their drones in a variety of events including aerial dogfights, obstacle courses, freestyle stunt-flying and tag. There are even separate divisions depending on the size of your drone.
If you are in the area and think you have what it takes, you can register for the event here.
The AASL is organized and hosted by Game of Drones, makers of the Indestructible Sumo Quad which they tout as the world’s toughest airframe. So be warned; if you come at the king you best not miss.
