Firefight Films shot this impressive footage at Alaska’s Mendenhall Glacier. Their DJI Phantom ducked, dodged, dipped, dived and dodged its way through the ice caves of the glacier to capture some hidden beauty that can only have been formed by centuries of glacial erosion.
The video looks like something out of a Discovery channel documentary.
It also makes one think. Environmentalists are always saying that human presence of any kind disrupts -and in some cases destroys- such an environment’s pristine condition. With the use of drones and GoPros, perhaps we can enjoy these natural Edens without having to send in a camera crew.
