DJI AeroScope: A Closer Look

November 1, 2017 by Frank Schroth 16 Comments

We recently released a video on our YouTube channel reviewing DJI’s AeroScope and it’s potential benefit to bringing safety to the skies by enabling authorities to identify rogue drones. Such a “license plate” technology, as some have called it, will also open up opportunities. You can find more of our coverage and commentary on AeroScope here.

The video mentions that AeroScope only works with DJI drones. In a conversation with Adam Lisberg of DJI he said the technology could and would be standardized to work with any drone.
