New Software Version Introduces Major Upgrades in UI, Detection, Mitigation, and Naval Deployment
D-Fend Solutions, a leading provider of radio frequency (RF), cyber-based, non-kinetic, non-jamming, counter-drone technology, has announced the release of EnforceAir2 version 24.04.2. This new software version integrates all upgrades implemented since the product’s launch last year, enhancing its capabilities in power, performance, portability, and range.
D-Fend Solutions’ cyber-takeover technology aims to provide full control, safety, and continuity during rogue drone incidents. The company’s flagship offering, EnforceAir, addresses the most dangerous drone threats in military, public safety, airport, prison, major event, critical infrastructure, and other environments. With thousands of successful deployments worldwide, D-Fend Solutions’ technology is in use by top-tier U.S. government agencies, including the U.S. military, federal law enforcement, and homeland security, as well as major international airports globally.
The updated EnforceAir2 includes several refined improvements that have been introduced throughout the year. Key enhancements focus on user interface (UI) features, expanded detection and mitigation coverage, and improved deployment on naval vessels.
New Version of EnforceAir2: UI Enhancements
EnforceAir2’s user interface now features:
- An AI-based mitigation engine that recommends appropriate drone mitigation options for each individual drone, simplifying mission-critical decisions for operators in real-time.
- Direct UI integration that links drone tickets with a map representation of the drone location, enhancing situational awareness, particularly when dealing with drone swarms.
- A new graphic representation of the threat level and possible pilot intentions.
- Improved quick, single-click access to detailed drone information, allowing operators to assess a drone’s threat level more efficiently.
Upgraded API
The latest version also includes significant API upgrades:
- Strengthened support for real-time information exchange with external command and control (C2) systems.
- Additional feeds into EnforceAir2 SDR to facilitate the tagging of large numbers of authorized drones in control airspaces, which may contain thousands of drones as a baseline.
Enhanced Naval Vessel Deployment Capabilities
For naval deployments, updates include:
- Support for multiple sensors deployed on a moving platform using D-Fend’s MSC2 technology.
Enhanced mobile C-UAS plans.
Dynamic updating of the warship operational area map.
Disrupted GNSS Mode
The system now offers operational support in zones with disrupted GNSS environments through advanced logic that optimizes system performance in such scenarios.
In addition to these software enhancements, D-Fend Solutions has significantly expanded EnforceAir2’s detection and mitigation capabilities to include a broader range of drone models.
“Given the rapid advances in drone and UAS technology we see across the globe, it’s important that EnforceAir2 equips our customers with the most advanced counter UAS capabilities possible while maintaining the simplicity of operation,” said Yaniv Benbenisti, President and Chief Product Officer at D-Fend Solutions. “Breakthrough innovations, such as the AI-based mitigation engine and disrupted GNSS environment mode, bring significant advantages to safely protect against the threats posed by maliciously or irresponsibly piloted commercially-available drones and custom-built drones.”
