In a move towards moving concepts of Urban Air Mobility (UAM) forward globally, SkyDrive Inc., a prominent Japanese eVTOL aircraft manufacturer, and Cyient, a global Intelligent Engineering and Technology Solutions company headquartered in Hyderabad, India, announced a historic memorandum of understanding (MoU) and a joint technical collaboration on the cutting-edge eVTOL “SKYDRIVE.”
This strategic collaboration marks a significant milestone as it represents SkyDrive’s first-ever partnership with an Indian engineering firm. The partnership aims to foster collaboration across multiple domains, including product development, engineering, manufacturing, and digital services.
Tomohiro Fukuzawa, CEO of SkyDrive, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are pleased to sign the partnership with Cyient to jointly collaborate on advanced technology development for our eVTOL.
