Sentera Announces Double 4K Sensor Compatible with DJI Mavic 3

Ag analytics provider Sentera announced the compatibility of its Double 4K Sensor with the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise.
Over the course of the last few years, ag drone systems have become established as a viable technology solution for gathering plant-level data during key growth stages throughout the season. Traditional means of data capture have relied on manual methods, which are often time-consuming and sometimes prone to human error.
“With the addition of a sensor built for ag data capture, the compact, high-endurance DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise lends itself well to capturing aerial imagery for field-level data,” said Sentera chief mechanical engineer Ryan Nelson. “Whether looking for an entry-level ag drone system or upgrading an older drone, we’re excited to offer a solution that maximizes field-level insights.”

Available in four variations, Sentera’s Double 4K Sensor connects seamlessly to the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise. The sensor’s dual cameras operate alongside the drone’s wide-lens camera, augmenting aerial capture for greater insights. This captured imagery can then be processed using Sentera’s data science ecosystem to provide plant-level measurements, such as canopy cover, crop area, crop health, elevation & hydrology, flowering, height & lodging, residue cover, and stand count.
