DroneLogBook Wants to Take Care of the Compliance for You: Simplifying End-to-End Drone Operations

June 11, 2020 by Harry McNabb 17 Comments

DroneLogBookEnterprise adoption of drone technology – either outsourced or in-house – is a great development for the industry.  Enterprise programs, however, require high levels of operational oversight and regulatory compliance.  Some programs have had to develop – and then endlessly upgrade and maintain – their own systems to accommodate.  Others have had to put together a piecemeal solution, or force fit their own processes into an existing system.

That’s where DroneLogBook makes it easy.

DroneLogBook provides a flexible, private label system that gives enterprise companies and drone service providers the opportunity to follow their own workflow: offering both greater oversight and operational flexibility.  The private label option is utilized key players across multiple industries, most notably mining, energy, media, transportation and public safety.

Key Features: Enhance Productivity, Mitigate Risks

DroneLogBook’s private label offering allows a professional, flexible compliance system with the key features that industry requires when implementing a drone program.  Companies can silo their organizations, enhancing security by allowing different groups within the company to be separate within the system: ideal for large enterprise or drone service providers.  Attributes can be shared as needed between organizations.

Management oversight is made easy, with auto notifications when flight, operations, or compliance settings are triggered.  The system is integrated with numerous mission planning packages, and offers an enhanced mission approval process.

In addition, DroneLogBook accomodates 3rd party flight operations requests; supports over 60 telemetry and software types; and can scale to support hundreds of pilots.  Among the most important features is the price: DroneLogBook’s private label system is affordable, priced at less than $8 per pilot per month at scale.  DroneLogbook is developing tools for Part 135 compliance for those departments more tied to manned aviation.

An End to End Solution

Enterprise drone programs don’t begin with takeoff and end with landing.  Mission planning, personnel management, fleet management, compliance reporting and flight tracking are all critical to the success of drone programs.  Companies need a system of record to track all of their operations: and they need a way to effectively measure the program’s success.  A private label DroneLogBook solution provides all of the compliance systems required – and lets enterprise programs focus on creating value while in the air.
