Airobotics has been a major name in the drone industry, introducing a number of “world’s firsts,” winning innovation awards, and demonstrating their fully automated drone solution at shows and expos around the world. Working closely throughout the development cycle with regulatory authorities, the company was able to receive the world’s first regulatory certification to perform fully automated drone flights without a human pilot by the Israeli Civil Aviation Authority.
The Airobotics solution allows for industrial drones to fly pre-programmed routes continuously or on-demand without pilot intervention, launching and landing from a docking station equipped with robotic arm for payload and battery exchange. The precision flight – accurate to 1 cm – makes the solution viable for a wide variety of industrial and military uses.
“We are honored that our vision for deriving greater value from fully-automated industrial drones has been recognized by Fast Company,” said Ran Krauss, CEO and Co-Founder at Airobotics. “We are committed to continuing to meet market challenges and expectations of innovation, in-line with Fast Company’s proud tradition.”
Fast Company‘s Most Innovative Companies (MIC) lists recognize pioneering companies across 36 categories, from artificial intelligence to wellness. More than three dozen Fast Company editors, reporters, and contributors surveyed thousands of companies—many of which were identified by a new MIC submission process—to create these lists. Airobotics is in good company in this year’s Most Innovative Companies issue, which includes other leading businesses such as Apple, Netflix, Tencent, Square, and Amazon.
Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies issue (March-April 2018) is now available online at www.fastcompany.com/MIC, as well as in app form via iTunes and on newsstands beginning February 27.
