Kespry, the aerial intelligence platform provider, has expanded its executive ranks with the addition of three technology veterans Jitender Aswani, Jim Allison and David Shearer as it looks to expand market share.

Aswani, recently head of data engineering for core growth at Facebook, is joining the company as vice president of products and analytics. He brings twenty years of experience guiding startups and industry firms through periods of high growth and adds a proven track record of product management and experience scaling analytics solutions. Prior to Facebook, Aswani held senior leadership positions in product and engineering at GraphSQL and SAP. In his new position, he will oversee product management, user experience and data science.
“Kespry has already broken new ground in the industrial drone space, from its fully-integrated solution to its innovations in the use of machine learning and artificial intelligence to automating entire industrial and commercial workflows,” Aswani said. “I’m excited to help the company drive further innovations, particularly around user experience and new ways to provide our customers with impactful aerial intelligence and insights.”
Allison joins Kespry as vice president, engineering, and will be tasked with managing development of Kespry’s aerial intelligence software with a goal of ensuring that the company’s platform continues to provide an elegant user experience that is intuitive to users right out of the box.Allison has extensive experience driving globally distributed development teams. Prior to Kespry, he held executive engineering and product roles at Motion Intelligence, Lily Robotics and Livescribe. He was also co-founder of both Xumii and Pensoft.
“There is a fundamental commitment to simplicity, elegant design and ease of use that you see in Kespry solutions and it’s core to the company’s growing momentum,” said Allison. “It will remain a guiding principle as our engineering team works to incorporate new technologies into the current and future Kespry platform.”

Third is David Shearer, Kespry’s vice president of marketing, who brings global brand building and marketing experience to the team. Prior to Kespry, Shearer was chief marketing officer of Elevaate, a cloud-based, real-time ecommerce solutions provider based in Europe. Prior to Elevaate, Shearer was vice president of marketing at cloud content management provider Box, up to its initial public offering in January 2015.
George Mathew, CEO and chairman of Kespry, said he is thrilled to have Aswani, Allison and Shearer on the leadership team at Kespry. “Jim, Jitender and David bring additional world-class expertise and talent to our team,” Mathew said. “They have helped guide high-profile market leaders through different phases of substantial growth, and their contributions will be significant as Kespry continues to scale at a rapid pace.”
Mathew himself is a somewhat recent addition to Kespry. He joined the firm in early February of this year as CEO. With the expansion of the team Kespry is looking to accelerate its growth both in US and internationally and position its easy-to-use, autonomous platform as the leading drone driven data analytics solution. Kespry maintains that its Kespry Drone 2s is the only fully-integrated aerial intelligence platform designed specifically for industrial and commercial use, such as applications in architecture, engineering and construction, mining, aggregates and insurance.
Kespry attributes the strength of the Kespry Drone 2s solution for attracting the attention of John Deere & Co. earlier this year. This led to a strategic alliance in March through which John Deere provides its customers with access to Kespry’s industrial drone platform through the network of John Deere dealerships around the world.
