Partnership and Innovation: Drone Delivery Canada and Volatus Aerospace Launch Advanced Drone Nesting Station

Commercializing the Volatus Aerieport Drone Nesting Station to Enhance Global Drone Operations and Market Reach

Vaughan, Ontario-based Drone Delivery Canada Corp. and fellow Canadian aerospace provider Volatus Aerospace Group recently announced a partnership to commercialize the Volatus Aerieport Drone Nesting Station in partnership with DDC’s Remote Operations center. This follows the late May announcement of a merger between the two firms, illustrating the collaborative strengths of the two partner companies.

“This is just one of many key revenue generating initiatives we have underway with Volatus Aerospace,” said Steve Magirias, CEO of Drone Delivery Canada. “We are mutually focused on capturing market share, bringing new technologies to the market, commercializing our solutions and bringing it all to numerous customers across various geographies and verticals.”

To begin the shared initiative, the Aerieport will be taken to DDC’s Remote Test Site for training of their Remote Operations Center team and integration into their “state-of-the-art” remote operating systems. This opportunity will allow for increased testing of the Aerieport system in real-world environments, both improving DDC’s offerings and providing crucial data to inform future iterations of the nesting system. The move is expected to increase equipment sales and provide a valuable and fast-growing new vertical in managed services for the Remote Operations Center.
