Next week, Amsterdam Drone Week will see the international drone industry come together for strategic discussions on regulations, use cases, urban air mobility and more.  Next year, the show will be even broader.

Amsterdam Drone Week (ADW) has announced a renewed strategic partnership with Commercial UAV Expo Europe, aimed at enhancing collaboration and driving advancements within the drone and air mobility sectors. This partnership is set to offer a more comprehensive showcase of innovative developments at future European events.

Scheduled for April 8-10, 2025, the combined event will be held at RAI Amsterdam, bringing together key players from across the drone and air mobility ecosystem under one roof. The event promises to facilitate accelerated scalability and improved integration of air mobility services globally, offering insights into sectors such as Construction, Drone Delivery, and Public Safety, among others.

Lee Corkhill, Group Event Director at Diversified Communications, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration. “Our partnership with Amsterdam Drone Week is a significant milestone, allowing us to support the growing European UAS market and provide valuable resources for commercial sUAS end-users and solution providers in Europe,” he stated.

Echoing Corkhill’s sentiments, Nynke Lipsius, Director of Amsterdam Drone Week and Group Director Mobility at RAI Amsterdam, highlighted the benefits of the partnership. “We are excited to re-establish our partnership as it enables us to serve the air mobility industry more comprehensively, enhancing global impact and fostering the integration of air mobility services,” Lipsius noted.

The event is designed to highlight the current capabilities of small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS), providing a platform for experts, professionals, policymakers, and industry leaders to engage in discussions about advancements in aviation technology, regulatory frameworks, sustainability, and future transportation methods.

This partnership underscores a commitment to bridging past, present, and future drone technologies, offering in-depth discussions and addressing key challenges faced by operators, while also providing a glimpse into the future of mobility.
