The event featured drones flying over major development sites for 15 minutes, offering a glimpse into Gwalior’s ongoing transformation. Representatives from the office of the Honorable Minister of Civil Aviation and the press attended the occasion. The Garuda drones provided an aerial view of key projects, including the Rs 1300 crore elevated road across the Subarnarekha River, the iconic Gwalior theme road, the multi-level car parking project, and the Rs 300 crore project to enhance the city’s aesthetics and convenience.
Founder and CEO of Garuda Aerospace, Agnishwar Jayaprakash, highlighted the event’s significance in the context of the government’s support for the drone sector, saying, “Gwalior is vital for Garuda Aerospace, and we are committed to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of making India a global drone hub by 2030.”
Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia shared his thoughts on the virtual flag raising, stating, “Yesterday, on August 15th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi revealed a comprehensive vision for India’s future. The essence is in ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas’ – collective support, universal development based on mutual trust, and joint efforts.”
The event highlighted Garuda Aerospace’s contribution to India’s goal of a $5 Trillion economy and its involvement in strategic initiatives with the Navy, Airforce, NDRF, and DRDO. Committed to positively impacting 1 billion lives, Garuda Aerospace aims to provide affordable precision Drone Technology to the public and private sectors. Notably, former cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has invested in the company and serves as its Brand Ambassador.
