A relatively new player in the drone industry, US-based BRINC has made a big impact in the first responder community. They’re delivering the LEMUR to SWAT teams around the world, and introducing a very tactical tool designed to keep both first responders and suspects safe.
DRONERESPONDERS’ mission is “to unite these new aerial first responders, emergency managers, and search and rescue specialists under a unified organization to help learn, train, and test with one another with the ultimate objective of maximizing drone operations for public safety.” As a part of their efforts to support and educate the public safety community in using drones, the non-profit has established a set of guiding principles for drone use, The “5 C’s” are principles that BRINC’s leadership team say match their own company priorities:
- Community Engagement and Transparency
- Civil Liberties and Privacy Protection
- Common Operating Procedures
- Clear Oversight and Accountability
- Cybersecurity
As a DRONERESPONDERS sponsor, BRINC Drones will join DRONERESPONDERS to provide thought leadership and technology demonstrations.
“We are thrilled to align with an organization that shares our values. At BRINC, we are mission-driven and dedicated to developing technologies that support first responders and allow them to do their jobs more safely and efficiently. DRONERESPONDERS is a perfect fit in supporting that mission and we are here to do whatever it takes to increase the adoption of drone technology within public safety,” said Blake Resnick, Founder/CEO of BRINC.
“DRONERESPONDERS is excited and appreciates the support from BRINC Drones Inc. as our newest corporate sponsor. BRINC’s exciting new technology will improve public safety operations in new ways and will enhance responder and citizen safety,” said Chief Charles Werner, Director of DRONERESPONDERS.
