drone industry outlookHow optimistic are stakeholders about the drone industry outlook for 2021?  2020 has been a year to remember, with ups and downs for everyone.  We’ve seen drone conferences go remote, drone delivery expand with COVID, regulations shift and technologies change, and new players emerge as leaders in the industry.  What’s next?  In our latest DRONELIFE Minute Survey, we asked our social media followers how they felt about the prospects for their drone related businesses in the next 12 months.
There are a lot of very significant drone business surveys, and a lot of very official forecasts for the drone industry.  The DRONELIFE Minute Survey makes no claim to be either – it’s a way for DRONELIFE to share some of the prevailing buzz that comes our way from readers on a variety of subjects, and for us to track changes over time on topics that we feel would be of interest to our readers and the industry. Recent surveys included pricing in the commercial drone space and the effect of the coronavirus on business at a point in time.
We asked social media followers one question about the drone industry outlook for 2021, and the answers are good – almost half of the respondents thought that the drone industry would have a great year in 2021:

Optimistic: Great Year – 47%
Pessimistic: Grim – 7%
