Atlas Named Silver Winner of the 2020 Edison Awards: AtlasMESH Enables Hot-Swapping Drones

The commercial drone industry has a consistent bottleneck: endurance.  Inexpensive and environmentally clean battery powered drones have short flight endurance. Drones that utilize other power sources may have their own disadvantages: size, price, fuel availability or form.   There have been many approaches to solving the problem: now Atlas, an automated drone system and software provider manufacturing in the E.U., has been named silver winner of the 2020 Edison Awards in Aerospace and Innovation for their unique approach.
