DJI and Delair Partner for Enterprise Data Collection and Analysis

The drone industry’s leading manufacturer, DJI, and French aerial data management company, Delair, have today announced plans to collaborate on enterprise solutions for visual data collection and analysis.

The agreement will see Delair sell DJI products through its worldwide sales network. The companies will also work to build compatibility across their platforms.

Earlier this week Delair announced an agriculture-focused partnership with Geosys.

“DJI is incredibly excited to be working more closely with the Delair team to support their vision of building a leading software suite,” said Jan Gasparic, Director of Strategic Partnerships at DJI.

“We aim to provide reliable, scalable drone offerings that empower organizations such as Delair to build software solutions that allow businesses across a range of sectors to benefit from drone data. The partnership is an important agreement that demonstrates an increasing maturity in the enterprise drone industry. It reinforces the benefit of collaboration within the drone ecosystem to deliver more value to customers.”

Building on DJI and Delair’s enterprise success

Despite starting as a consumer company, DJI drones are by far the most deployed commercial drone hardware. The decision to partner with Delair will combine DJI’s drones with Delair’s data management platform, which the pair are no doubt hoping will combine to be a natural choice for businesses exploring drone technology.

As with the partnership announced with Geosys earlier this week, the move to work with DJI strengthens Delair’s ability to serve key industry sectors, such as construction, transportation and infrastructure, utilities, mining and agriculture.

With the DJI partnership in the bag, Delair customers will now effectively have a one-stop shop and plenty of hardware choice alongside the company’s established AI platform.

“Drones for enterprise are more than just hardware solutions: the real key is tapping into and leveraging the data these powerful machines can gather. DJI’s developer technologies and existing install base allow Delair to build an industry-leading analytics suite that can be utilized instantly across a customer’s fleet,” said Benjamin Benharrosh, Co-founder and VP Sales at Delair.

“Both DJI and Delair recognize the importance of providing enterprise-caliber solutions from trusted partners to enable true digital transformations by our customers. We are confident this partnership will further accelerate how businesses can improve their operational efficiencies using drones.”

There are a range of advanced solutions that enterprise customers can tap into using Delair and DJI’s technology, from data analytics to volume measurements, defect detection, field and stock inventory calculations, and the creation of digital twins.
