DRONELIFE reached a record-high audience for 2018, with over 1.7 million web-based readers worldwide. Our social media audience also continues to grow, with the Facebook audience topping 150,000, and our Twitter audience at 38,000 readers.
“We’re happy that our readership has continued to grow as the industry has matured, and that that the trend has continued into 2018,” said Harry McNabb, CEO of DroneLife.com.
This year, DRONELIFE attended a record number of commercial drone shows in the U.S. and around the world, in order to introduce our readers to new drone innovations and companies. Our viewpoint – and our audience – has broadened.
“We previously announced that we grew significantly in 2018 and it is nice to see that this is carrying over into 2019.” continued McNabb. “In terms of breakdown, while most of our readers are from the US, we have large and growing audiences in Europe, Asia, and the rest of the world. We have invested heavily both in North America and in Europe and will continue to do so throughout 2019. We’ve also a Google News site, with large and growing subscription lists of drone influences worldwide for each of our web-based properties: DRONELIFE, DroneFlyers, Jobfordrones, and DroneRacingLife. The majority of our readers (over 60%) find us through SEO search.
“We support two groups, first and foremost our readers without whom this would not be possible and our sponsors whom we help to get the word out on their products and services to a worldwide audience.”
