New York Drone Film Festival: The Winners

This year’s New York City Drone Film Festival saw talented aerial photographers from all over the world enter their best work in an effort to win prestigious awards in one of eleven categories. As you might imagine, the winning lineup is an eclectic mixture, including everything from stunning landscapes in Finland to a drone Star Wars short film.

The festival took place across March 18th and 19th. We’ve put together the winning entries for your convenience. Enjoy.

Mixed Motion Project – Ilko Iliev and Marin Kafedjiiski (Bulgaria)

This aerial view of Parkour/freerunning won over the judges for its creativity and videography.

This documentary featured the use of drones during protests against the North Dakota pipeline.
