Drone Volt Poised to Electrify the US: Big Announcements at CES

French drone company Drone Volt is preparing to make some major announcements at this week’s CES show in Las Vegas, as they stake their place in the US’s burgeoning commercial drone market.

Daniel Roe, EVP of Sales and Marketing, Drone Volt USA
is excited to get started.  “This is Drone Volt’s opportunity to show the World Markets what Drone Volt is all about as we expand into the U.S. market,” says Roe. “We are here to expose the company to the Press, to talk product with Retailers and to interview Distributors who are starting to get into the Service Drone market in an increasing larger way.”

Drone Volt isn’t a new player to the market: they offer an impressive global client list using their professional drones for applications including agriculture, construction, security, and media.  But at this year’s CES show, the company will introduce new platforms and drones which will take their offerings to the next level.  “For some time now, we have been the leader with true Service applications for drones…,” Roe says.  “but these new platforms offer true innovations in the space.”

Among the new offering is a ground-based drone called the Janus VR-Bot: a “first of it’s kind” drone for VR and cinema content creation which may also be used also in construction, architecture and for media applications like virtual tours. The camera array sits on the top of the drone, providing a human-level perspective in situations that may be dangerous or difficult for a person.

With the Janus VT-Bot and Drone Volt’s fixed wing offering, available this month, Drone Volt’s array of products is impressive: and the company is ready to address the challenges of a new market.  “The drone market in general is growing,” comments Roe, “but the Service Drone side of the business is out-pacing the overall category growth, and within a couple years will be the bigger portion of the market… The applications for Service Drones are nearly endless at this point and are only limited by the imagination of our engineers.”
