A man was busted for flying a drone outside the National Tennis Center during a US Open quarter-final match featuring top seed Serena Williams, law-enforcement sources said.
Daniel Feighery, 34, was allegedly piloting the drone near the main stadium in Flushing, where Williams ousted her opponent, Flavia Pennetta, Wednesday night.
Feighery was outside the main gate when cops spotted the drone and asked him to reel it in with his remote control.
Feighery and the drone were taken to the 110th Precinct Station House in Queens, where charges were pending Wednesday night.
