Its not delivery, its not DiGiorno, its the Dodo Drone!
Another purveyor of pizza pies has packed their product on board a propellor-powered aerial pod!
A Russian restaurant reaches regulars with revolutionary robotic refreshment!
…alliteration depleted.
Seriously though, this approach to pizza delivery by drone is an interesting take because the company, Dodo Pizza, put a ‘pizza agent’ in the field to both collect order and cash as well as deal directly with the drone, thereby eliminating the risk of some random customer injuring themselves when interacting with the drone.
Can’t you just see the Dominoes guy walking around Central Park collecting orders and calling them in to have them delivered to you on the spot?
The only thing I would do differently is, I would put speakers on the drone so it plays “Flight of the Valkyries” as it approaches… And if we are setting this hypothetical in New York, let have it deliver Artichoke instead of Dominoes.
