I would like to think this would be a viable function for delivery drones, but then I spilled boiling hot coffee all over my hand before I even got to the milk thermos at Starbucks this weekend so a coffee delivery drone would have to have unparalleled smooth flight or some new contraption that ensures minimum spillage.
In the long run, I am sure there will be a robot that can carry coffee better than I can and I’m sure that shortly after this technology becomes viable, it will be outfitted with Pandora, Netflix and yes, probably propellers.
Until then, we will just have to rely on the creative types, like YouTube’s Niral Ramesh, to demo this concept for us.
