XenoSky, the company that is scheduled to come out with the Loop family package later this year, was honored with two awards at the Global Sources Electronic Exhibition 2016 in Hong Kong last week.
The first award was from Global Sources and was the one of the “Analysts Choice” awards for the Loop family drone. The second was from the China Daily, the leading expatriate new source based in China. The company won China Daily’s inaugural award for one of the most innovative products. The Loop is a family drone package; designed with a feature set that appeals to both parents and children. About the size of a standard tablet, the Loop is easy to store and carry; the undercarriage is detachable and can be assembled as a portable gimbal system, allowing families to take both aerial photographs or hand held pictures with one device. The Loop has a “light-finger sky-writing” feature that lets operators create light art in the skies with a swipe of a finger – and it’s easy enough for kids to enjoy. With the addition of FPV goggles, the Loop package offers a complete set of innovative features, priced to work as the family’s “everyday” drone.
Anthony Spicer, CMO of XenoSky tells DRONELIFE that the family drone is a concept whose time has come: “We are delighted to be recognized as a innovation and technology leader in this field – our Loop product line is designed for families to be able to afford and fly inexpensive but fully featured drones, and these awards help to validate that”.
The Loop family of drones will ship later this year and is currently available for pre-order on Indiegogo.
