MOOREFIELD TWP., Clark County — A Clark County man flying a drone was arrested Saturday for allegedly hindering the landing of a medical helicopter for a serious accident.
However, he told News Center 7 on Sunday that he is being unfairly charged, and that his video will prove it to the court.
It all started when the driver of a pickup truck crashed into a tree just after 10 a.m. Saturday in the 2900 block of Mechanicsburg Road.
Kele M. Stanley, 31, of Moorefield Twp. heard the crash report on his scanner, and went to the scene to fly his drone – which he said is really a remote-controlled hexa-copter equipped with a camera – to shoot video and photos of the accident.
